Saratoga's meet runs six weeks, and Alabama weekend is its crescendo. The Grade 1 Alabama Stakes — one of American racing's oldest races, run at the Spa since 1872 — is the defining test for the country's best three-year-old fillies, and it draws a card and a crowd that match the occasion. By late August the meet is winding toward its close, the competition has sharpened, and Saratoga carries the particular energy of something that knows it's ending. There is no better time to be there, and it's the perfect weekend getaway to celebrate the beginning of STABLE.
Day 1: Friday, August 21
Attire: Night on the Town
- 7:30pm: Welcome Drinks & Light Bites - Kicking off the weekend at a private residence in downtown Saratoga. Settle into your accommodations and join us to celebrate the launch of STABLE!
- 9:30pm: Caroline Street Bar Crawl - The night continues downtown with live music and dancing at some of Saratoga's most iconic bars, centered around the famous Caroline Street.
Day 2: Saturday, August 22
Attire: Derby Best
- 12:30pm: Race Day at Saratoga Race Course - Morning is free, sleep in or explore town. We'll be at the track by 12:30, in an A/C clubhouse room with a full food options and a premium open bar through 6:00.
- 7:00pm: Trackside Encore - Keep the vibes going (hopefully with more money in your pocket!) with live music at Siro's next to the track, then downtown for those not ready to call it.
Day 3: Sunday, August 23
Attire: Casual & Comfortable
- 8:30am: Backstretch Tour & Breakfast - A behind-the-scenes look that very few get to see: meet the horses, jockeys, and trainers. Breakfast served, easy morning.
- 1:00pm: Trackside Picnic (Optional) - Stick around and join us in the track's backyard area at some picnic tables, or go explore the surroundings - Saratoga Lake, Saratoga National Golf, and the State Park are all close by.
